About Me

HI and thank you for checking out TAC Music Management.  I'm sure you'd like to know a little about me and what I do here.  I am an independent artist manager in Colorado.  I knew from a young age that I would work in music in some capacity, but wasn't sure which route to take.  I played piano, sang in choir (not very well) at a young age and while I enjoyed it, I knew performing wasn't what I strived for.  It wasn't until college and the opportunities there that I found my calling.

I started off as a music major in piano performance at the University of Colorado Boulder (before switching to anthropology) and took every music theory and  history course I could.  I discovered the campus radio station and immediately signed up as a DJ.  I joined the campus event planning committee and did production work for on campus concerts.  I applied for internships, landing one with Polydor/Atlas and then with Capitol Records as a field marketing rep,  promoting such acts as Everclear, Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World, Roseanne Cash, Yoko Ono, George Clinton, Butthole Surfers and the Foo Fighters to name a few.

Upon graduation in 1997, I was briefly employed at a record label, only to be laid off along with 80% of the marketing dept I worked with.  Long story short, I took other jobs to fill my time, knowing eventually I would get back to the industry I loved.  In 2007, I started  booking a few local bands in Colorado and twelve years later I'm still at it, only with a shift towards artist management  which is what I truly enjoy.  I firmly believe in doing what you love for a living and never giving up on what you want to accomplish and that is what TAC Music Management is truly about.
